    Garnier Olia Dark Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this hair dye. It didn't have a horrible strong smell like others I've tried and it also managed to cover my long thick hair really well. The grey hairs which I have are completely covered and my hair feels soft and healthy instead of the usual dry feeling it can sometimes have after using some dyes. There is a pop out bit in the box to use for holding the hair dye bottle which was really handy and the applicator nozzle is longer than others which also made it easier to use (I struggle with the shorter ones as my hair is so thick) I would definitely use this dye again and the dark brown matches my natural hair colour really well.

I have been using this product for close to two years now and it is still my favorite hair dye to use. I use the shade Intense Deep Red, and I constantly get compliments on my hair color. \nI find the product easy to apply, and easy to wash out after it has developed. The dye doesn't have a strong chemical smell commonly found with hair dyes, and is fairly easy to wash out after it has developed. \nThe only negative I have found is that I do still get color coming from my hair for a week or two after application, but I find that common particularly with red shades so I would still say this is a 5-star hair dye. Definitely recommend! \n

Until recently I was colouring my hair very regularly. Olia was my go-to box dye. Naturally I'm a dark blonde - light ashy brown and my favourite shade in Olia was 8. I find this easy to use, it doesn't stink and the result is soft, shiny hair. Hair stays soft too, as long as you do root touch-ups rather than continuously applying all over. The included conditioner is amazing. I wish I could buy it separately! I always received compliments on my hair from hairdressers so that must say something. This is a great product when used correctly and when you don't stray too many shades from your natural colour. Highly recommended.

    Gorgeous Hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to try Garnier Olia dye as since I had my baby my hair has been dull and lifeless. I went with the dark brown to go back to my natural colour. This dye has given my hair a great shine. The coverage is fantastic although for long hair I would definitely recommend two boxes. I absolutely love the conditioner! My hair feels so smooth. I also have psoriasis in my scalp and found it to be really gentle on my skin and it caused me no irritation at all. The dye is pretty runny so make sure you are in the bathroom or your walls will be a splash zone like mine! I would definitely recommend this dye for dry hair like mine and will be using it again in the future. Enjoy!

    Enough product for long hair

I have thick, coarse, dark hair with some obvious greys and colour my hair at home every couple of months. I decided to buy this because it has no ammonia. The instructions were clear and easy to use. There was no unpleasant smell like some other brands. The mixture was not too drippy and easy to spread. However I didn't find the product to be any less drying that other permanent hair dyes on the market. It also only gave me about 70% grey coverage. The good thing about this product is that there is a generous amount of product and I only needed one pack on my long hair, unlike some of the other brands.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Colour used: 10.0 Very light blonde\n\nThis is my go-to colour for lightening my medium blonde hair.  I don't need a lot of lift and I love the fact that my hair is always soft and shiny when I've used it.  If you have dark hair, then it definitely won't give the result on the box, but for already medium to light hair, you'll end up with a good colour.\n\nThe smell is not overpowering or unpleasant (if you're used to hair dye) and the Garnier colours generally do smell quite nice.\n\nThis colour does have gold tones, so if you prefer a cooler blonde, I would recommend a purple toner afterwards.\n

    Who needs salon colour!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a serial home dyer. Dark hair and ‘stress’ roots (particular post pregnancy) are a combination from my nightmares so a quick dye here and there stops me hiding from the mirror! My usual brand is now a root touch up or a mousse product purely for convenience and time as my little one keeps me busy most of my waking hours. Returning to Olia was like meeting an old friend. Minimal hair colour scent, lovely smooth application, amazing quantity for my long and and a beautifully even and shiny result. My roots are banished until they grow back and I am left with natural looking and luminous colour

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    My New Favourite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thought I'd give this a go to try and sort the greys and take my hair back to a more natural colour after the purple. The shape of the bottle makes for very easy application and the hole in box for holding application bottle is a great idea for ease of mixing dye. The dye itself is slightly runny so be sure to be careful when applying, one of the main things I like is that there is no awful smell, in fact it actually smells nice, no sore head or stinging eyes. The aftercare conditioner helps leave hair shiny and silky , covered the old colour brilliantly though if you have longer hair would recommend using two boxes, will be checking out the colour range as I'll definitely be using this again.

      Garnier Olia 4.0 Hair Dye

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my opinion, I loved this products so much, the way my hair turned out was just amazing. I had such a wonderful vibrant colour and all my friends and family said that they loved the colour and that it definitely suited me. I have also made a review about this product on my YouTube channel and everybody loved it. I would definitely recommend this product as the brand is Garnier and garnier is such an amazing brand because of the way it uses avocado and such organic ingredients in it. It was also very easy to use as of the instructions etc. I always buy hair products from Garnier as its such an amazing brand. Lastly I loved the way the oil hydrated through my hair and that's why I would definitely purchase it in the future.

More suited for lighter coloured hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the packaging of this hair dye as it looks funky and fun. The fact the box has a hole in which you can stand the bottle in is a great idea and it ensures there are no spillages. The dye has a floral fragrance and no ammonia which helps to limit damage . I mixed the concoction up and started applying, the dye is not too thick and glides out of the nozzle easily. I left on for 30 mins and then washed off. As with other dyes , it took a few washes to get the dye off but I was disappointed to see it hadn't made that much of a difference to my hair .

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Garnier Olia 4.0 Dark Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not usually someone who dyes their hair but after spotting a few greys I tried Garnier Olia. I was really easy to prepare and the shape of the bottle meant it was easy to apply. I was very surprised at the smell - or the lack of the horrible smell I was expecting, it was quite a pleasant but subtle smell when applying the dye. Once I had rinsed the dye off and dried my hair i was very happy with how shiny and smooth my hair was. The colour is also a perfect match to my own. I won't think twice about using this once the greys reappear!!

I tried the Garnier Olia for the first time list last week....my boys kept complaining how horrendous my usual hair dye colour smelt. After using another brand for too many years to remember I was pleasantly surprised at how well tnis no amonia dye worked. The colour chart was pretty much spot on with the colour result with full grey coverage. The conditioner supplied with the kit smelled divine, just wish there was more than the small sachet. My hair was left soft and oh so shiny afterwards and will definitely be using Garnier Olia again.

      Best Colour Result I've had

I bought the Garnier Olia Permanent Hair Colour in Dark Blonde (7.0). I am a natural brunette and have been home lightening my hair for about five years. I have curly, frizzy, dry, above the shoulders hair. It's the usual pour and shake set-up but the box also comes with a generous sized aftercare conditioner. Unfortunately, the gloves supplied are too small for my hands. The hair colour is thin but not drippy and easy to apply. No nasty fumes but the usual burning sensation on my scalp. I had enough mixture for my hair but anything longer I would recommend two boxes. This wasn't any more drying than other brands. I really liked the colour result and would purchase this again even though grey coverage wasn't 100% but then I'm lucky as my greys are minimal, for now.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      Hair left very oily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product was very easy to apply which is why I am giving this product more than 1 star. It took no time at all to mix and the applicator bottle covered all my hair quickly (and I have very thick hair). I also loved the fact it had no nasty smell! However after I washed my hair and dried it I felt my hair did not look glossy and rich in colour as I would expect after dying it. Instead it looked limp and oily. In fact it looked like I hadn't washed it for a couple of days and it was going greasy. I had to put some dry shampoo in to bring it back to life and make it look a little dryer. This is something I have never needed to do before with other brands. I know I will have to wash it again this evening as the roots are so greasy. This is not a hair dye kit I will use again

      Revived and bouncy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier Dark brown colouring has really bought my dull, greying hair back to life! All greys are covered and my hair is so soft and shiny. I was worried that the dark brown would be too dark, however it is not died a dark block colour. There are subtle tones of dark caramels. The packaging is attractive and gives all important information. The allergy testing was straight forward. The smell when colouring my hair was pleasant and not strong at all. I would definitely use it again and recommend it to friends!

      Garner Olia hair dye

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use however the process is slightly different to otger hair dyes in that you put 2 ingredients into the emptyapplicator bottle. Used this on my daughter's hair which is waist length and so bought 2 packs for coverage. Really easy to apply and no major smells either! No messy dripping while waiting for the colour to develop. Easy to rinse and the conditioner smells good. Beautiful results with a tonal colour and such a shine. Even a couple of weeks on my daughter is still receiving compliments.

      Nice colour - Condition Unsure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was easy to apply but found the applicator awkward. It was quiet bulky. The colour took really well covered my grey. Washed out good and loved the amount of conditioner provided. The gloves to protect your hands were very small and I managed to split one which caused staining to my hand. Would I buy again - no its well presented but doesn't live up to its claims - my hair is dry really thought this would improve the condition and not as easy as it was before this colour now full of static x

      Garnier Olia 4.0

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am always wary of home dye kits as often they have a really strong smell and can make your hair feel very dry. However after using this product I was very satisfied, no smell and my hair felt lovely and soft. It's very easy to use with good instructions provided. The colour has taken very well to my hair and looks lovely. Packaging is also very nice, the bottles look sleek and modern. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a home dye kit and I'd certainly consider buying again.

I have been using this product for just over a year & a half, to cover greys approximately once every two months. I find the application process incredibly easy, snaps to the product for not smelling too chemical-y, which is always a challenge in a small bathroom space.\n\nTwo hairdressers have commented on the professional nature of my dye job since using Olia... perhaps they were buttering me up? I choose to believe it's the outstanding nature of the product! Highly recommended. \n

Although I love a salon treatment, sometimes I do colour my hair at home. This product is for me by far one of the best in the market. I use the blonde shades and normally most dyes can leave hair dry. This product leaves my hair nice and soft and more importantly it doesn't irritate the scalp. The application is also very easy and the conditioner is very good. My hair is frizzy and curly and the conditioner is perfect for my hair. I would recommend the product for blonde shades.

      Hair products to DYE for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Garnier Olia 4.0 Dark Brown Permanent Hair Dye was extremely easy to use. Usually I would ask my someone to help me apply hair dye but I did this one on my own and it turned out perfectly, with really even coverage. The instructions were very easy to follow. My hair felt extremely soft afterwards and in a much better condition than it had before I applied the dye. I would 100% recommend this product to family and friends, and I will definitely be using it again.

      Great hair colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm giving this 4 stars as with my hair being quite thick I could of done with another box, so have a few missed places but nothing noticable (I hope) so if you have a lot of hair I suggest 2 boxes. there's no ammonia so it was pleasant to apply without a harsh smell wafting up my nose. The colour is vibrant, I've had it for 2 weeks and no signs of fading which is good as other brands tend to fade as I flat iron my hair a lot. I will definitely use this brand again.

      Garnier olia

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I'd like to thank the genius who invented the bottle holder in the box and squeezie bottle to get the maximum dye out without removing the lid and shaking until your arm falls off. I hadn't coloured me hair for a few weeks and had lots of greys, the garnier olia has covered them fab. Lovely thick dye so no drips across my face and hadn't dyed my scalp. No chokie smell and has left my hair soft and shiny. Would definitely use again really happy

I purchase this product to dye my hair every month. It is by far the best dye I've used. I use the blue black shade, which does not fade one bit!\nThe product is very easy to apply and is not too thick or too runny. It smells amazing for a hairdye, and doesn't leave a chemical smell in my hair. \n\nMy hair feels so soft and conditoned after use, like I've just had a hair treatment. I definitely recommend this especially if you dye your hair often. \n

Clever Design & No Horrid Smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the product is Okay. The clever cut out on the box means no more spills of product everywhere. There is enough product to cover mid back length hair. Was left on longer than required due to grey hairs but they haven't been covered at all. Nice colour but after 3 washes has already started to fade. (I take really good care of my hair) No horrible smell which was fantastic. The after care conditioner is good except could do with a nicer smell

      Garnier Olia-Dark Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hadn't coloured my hair for some time. I have a 5 month old. Enough said! It was washed out and very, VERY grey. This product covered all of my greys and left my hair shiny and feeling really strong. The smell was really pleasant, and not offensive which is a big plus for me. The product is quick thick, so didn't have any drips anywhere (I usually end up with blobs down the back of my neck) Bonus! I would definitely use this product again.

Garnier Olia 4.0 Dark Brown Hair Dye

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hair dye was super easy to mix and the applicator is really precise allowing me to segment my hair and really get to the Roots. Following application the dye washes out really easily without staining my skin or the bathroom. It managed to cover up all my greys and my hair felt healthier and thicker afterwards. The colour is very similar to the box, very dark brown. I love the fact it's ammonia free and will defiantly use it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Olia did what it said and covered the grey hair!! I had left my hair for months with no colour and was delighted with the outcome of using Olia. My hair feels soft and looks shiny with no grey! The colour although darker than I may have picked myself actually did a good job of blending with my natural colour, smelt good and was easy to apply. I would recommend Olia to my friends and family and will purchase again for myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoyed this hair dye, it smelt lovely considering its a hair dye and went on well. I was wondered about the coverage of this dye as my hair was a deep purple colour before hand. It actually made my hair a lovely dark shade with no purple tint in sight! After washing and applying the conditioner included my hair smelt and felt beautiful. I would definitely buy this hair dye again! It's a new favourite!

Amazing coverage and so easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a lot of root growth and a lot more greys than I realised!! The dye was simple to get started. The application is so easy to apply. I found virtually no drips as the formula is quite rich and thick when applied. The conditioner left my hair soft and shiny, not rough like some home dyes. The colour is perfect and has covered really evenly. More importantly, no more greys. I’d highly recommend this dye

      Garnier olia permanent hair colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is brilliant it has covered all of my grey hairs and I managed to get full coverage over my long hair which is very rare because it is so long. My daughter that applied the hair colour to my hair has said that it is really easy to apply and the instructions were straight forward and easy to understand. The colour I had was dark brown. I will defiantly be recommending garnier olia to friends

I bought this product as I really liked the packaging and that it was ammonia free - they use natural flower oils. \nI have light hair, with regrowth, and used the 5.0 BROWN colour as I like a darker look, but still natural. \nThe instructions on the packet are really easy to follow, and comes with everything you need for colouring, including gloves! The product smells good, not like others that I've used that have a strong chemical smell, and it doesn't linger after washes. \nThe product is very easy to apply, it glides through my hair and is the perfect consistency. \nIt comes with a conditioner to use after colouring, which is super generous and lasts more than one wash - it actually smells so good and leaves my hair feeling super soft and shiny. \nMy hair genuinely feels healthier, looks healthier and the colour is incredibly natural. \nWould definitely recommend this product! \n

Coverage was better than my normal colour, according to my daughter and the colour is gorgeous. Love the colour

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really really love this colour. It's lovely and Rich and luxurious. Garnier olia is unlike any other hair colourant iv ever used, there is no nasty smell when applying just a pleasant fruity aroma which is so much nicer than the normal chemical smell. Usually i need to use 2 bottles for my long hair but with Garnier olia it only took one bottle. I'd recommend garnier olia to everybody.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier Olia shade 4.0 Dark Brown, covered the pesky greys brilliantly, blending them in well. The simple to follow instructions and the ergonomically designed bottle allow easy application. Also the non drip cream texture has a pleasant fragrance. Truly a delightful home hair colouring experience at the next level, with no pungent smell of harsh chemicals or any damage to the hair.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      I like Olia

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was easy to mix and apply, Olia think of everything making a stand for the applicator bottle out of the box. The dark brown is really dark brown, it covered all my grey roots, hair looks shiny and in fantastic condition. The only downside was it made my hair heavy with product immediately after using but it's not a problem so I would definitely recommend Olia.

I have tried Garnier Olia in the past, and whilst I love the way it leaves my hair looking and feeling after initially dyeing my hair, sadly the long-term benefits aren't enough for me to regularly buy this product. \nWhat most appealed to me about this hair dye is the fact that it is ammonia-free. The less chemicals and/or nasties a product has, the better, so that was a big plus.\nI dye my hair as I am in my late 30's and getting more greys, so I look for dyes that cover greys effectively, and for more than a month if possible.\nBut Garnier Olia only lasted about 3 or 4 weeks before my greys started to show through again, and whilst the colour itself is a lovely shade (I use a dark brown shade) it didn't last as long as I would've liked. \nBut if greys aren't a concern for you and you are just wanting to change your colour, then I would recommend this product for you as it does leave your hair soft and shiny. \n

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never tried Garnia Olia before and I can honestly say it was a treat compared to other hair colours. The small nozzle on the bottle was great to get right at the roots of the hair, it's smells amazing and my hair is so soft and shiny after use. I would use again and I would recommend to others, truly happy with this product. Best of all covered all my grey hairs.
